Bergs Potter Simona Glazed Pot
The Simona Glazed Pot is a small, gently tapered flowerpot with fine vertical ridges running the full length of the body and a delicate row of pearls hand-pressed along the upper rim. Each pot comes with a matching saucer. The glaze is applied twice by hand, giving the surface depth and subtle variation across pieces. Available in Amber Yellow and Emerald Green, both colors are saturated enough to read strongly in a grouping while still complementing each other when mixed. Sizes run from 12 cm to 18 cm in diameter, keeping this firmly in the compact, detail-forward end of the range. Suited to indoor use year-round, with the glaze making it practical for a windowsill without worrying about moisture damage to surfaces. How it tends to get used:
- Violas, pansies, and small seasonal flowers potted up for a windowsill or shelf display, where the color of the glaze does as much work as the plant itself
- Herbs like basil, thyme, or chives in the kitchen, where the compact size fits a counter without taking over
- Grouped in multiples on a dining table as a centerpiece, mixing Amber Yellow and Emerald Green for contrast
- Succulents or small trailing plants on a bookshelf or side table, where the ridged surface and pearl rim add texture to the arrangement
Handmade in Tuscany from premium Italian clay, the Simona collection is shaped and glazed entirely by hand in a small workshop. The dense clay lets roots breathe and retain moisture, and the waterproof saucer treatment makes the pot practical indoors without a tray underneath. Designed in Scandinavia with a nod to mid-19th century French craft, these are small pots built to last and be kept.
From the Crafters:
Years ago, the romantic Simona Pot materialized in the head of Steffen Berg, as he strolled through busy and atmospheric flea markets in Montmartre. Now our charming and chic Simona Pot points to the aesthetics of the old Latin Quarter and can easily be imagined in the classic French homes and gardens of the 19th century.
Our sweet Parisian “femme” Simona has small pearls sitting neatly on a tight string along the upper rim. Adorned from every angle, she steps elegantly into the light, enhancing her beautiful and subtle details, ready to spread ‘amour’ everywhere she roams. Since Simona is like a classic girl of Montmartre, one might doubt her interest in deep, saturated colours, but look again, and you will find her more glowing than ever with the thick glaze enhancing all her details. Mon amour, je t’aime!
Today, our petit ‘pot de fleur’ is gently shaped by the skilled hands of our experienced potters.

What Our Customers Say

This is definitely an excellent potting mix!
Once I replaced the mix of my alocasia with this, it started thriving and pushing out new sprouts. It's a chunky and airy mix so watering becomes more frequent but great for plants that hate wet feet and get root rot fast.

This is my third purchase of this potting mix, and it continues to impress. The drainage is excellent, and my plants have been growing healthier than ever.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. High-quality potting mix. Even though I definitely don't have green fingers. A reliable mix that makes plant care so much easier. Highly recommended.

Can't find a better soil mix to start my plant journey with! 2 weeks in and my plants are flourishing!

My alocasia stingray suffered from root rot and was attacked by mealy bugs. Potted an almost dead plant with just 1 yellowing leaf and few roots in this mix.
Today I cut off the last leaf and look, there is a sign of life. This potting mix is great. If I had known about this earlier, I would have fewer dead plants

Exactly 1 month since repot. This is a propagated anthurium and suffice to say, it absolutely loves the soil and the net pot.
I've had this plant since January and this is the first time it's growing 7 new leaves all at once! My only regret is that I wish bought a bigger pot because boy these roots grow fast!
— Gian J.
Excellent. Bought this as a recommendation from a friend and it works.

The soil is a good base and very suitable for adding amendments to suit the needs of your plant. I tried many soilless mixes, I like this one the most, for me it is the most versatile and easiest to use. Wish it came in a smaller 2L pack though. Good price and was delivered fast.

I'd highly recommend this potting mix as my alocasia roots grow very well and healthy in it. I'm also using it for other plant.
