Bergs Potter Large Flora Terracotta Pot
The
Large Flora Terracotta Pot is built for a different scale of planting entirely. At 50 cm and 70 cm in diameter, these are floor-level statement pots designed to house large indoor trees and oversized tropical specimens that standard pots can't accommodate. The form follows the Flora design: a broad, straight-sided taper with a wide, open rim and a clean, unembellished surface in raw terracotta. The finish is unglazed clay that develops a natural patina over time. Each pot has a drainage hole. The saucer is sold separately and is built to support the substantial weight of a fully planted pot. When used outdoors, pot feet are recommended to allow drainage and protect the base. At this scale, the pot suits a specific category of plants:
- Large fiddle leaf figs, umbrella trees, and Ficus audrey, where the wide diameter gives an established root system the room it needs to continue growing
- Tall indoor palms like areca or kentia, where floor placement and a generous pot diameter anchor the plant without tipping
- Oversized tropical specimens such as elephant ears or large bird of paradise, where the pot's volume and breathable clay support healthy root development at scale
- Indoors, the pot works best positioned in a corner with strong natural light, on a protected floor surface with the saucer in place.
The Large Flora collection is a range of monumental terracotta pots that extend the Flora design to a scale suited for large statement plants. Handcrafted in Italy from premium clay, each pot is designed for both indoor use and seasonal outdoor display. The saucers are sold separately and purpose-built to carry the weight of a fully planted pot. Pot feet are recommended for outdoor placement to allow drainage and protect the base.
From the Crafters:
The magic of nature and its ability to transform spaces, as well as the flourishing desire to surround oneself with towering indoor plants, have inspired the birth of the Large Flora, a masterpiece born from the unembellished elegance of the Flora design, which is now elevated to unseen scales.
With diameters ranging from 50 to 70 cm, these impressive pots redefine the art of indoor gardening, becoming the centerpiece of your living spaces. Accompanying these majestic pots are equally stunning saucers — sold separately and carefully crafted to hold the substantial weight of your planters — ensuring both beauty and functionality when used indoors. When placed outdoors, we recommend lifting the pots slightly on discreet pot feet, allowing for natural drainage and year-round resilience.

What Our Customers Say

This is definitely an excellent potting mix!
Once I replaced the mix of my alocasia with this, it started thriving and pushing out new sprouts. It's a chunky and airy mix so watering becomes more frequent but great for plants that hate wet feet and get root rot fast.

This is my third purchase of this potting mix, and it continues to impress. The drainage is excellent, and my plants have been growing healthier than ever.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. High-quality potting mix. Even though I definitely don't have green fingers. A reliable mix that makes plant care so much easier. Highly recommended.

Can't find a better soil mix to start my plant journey with! 2 weeks in and my plants are flourishing!
— H.K.
My alocasia stingray suffered from root rot and was attacked by mealy bugs. Potted an almost dead plant with just 1 yellowing leaf and few roots in this mix.
Today I cut off the last leaf and look, there is a sign of life. This potting mix is great. If I had known about this earlier, I would have fewer dead plants

Exactly 1 month since repot. This is a propagated anthurium and suffice to say, it absolutely loves the soil and the net pot.
I've had this plant since January and this is the first time it's growing 7 new leaves all at once! My only regret is that I wish bought a bigger pot because boy these roots grow fast!
— Gian J.
Excellent. Bought this as a recommendation from a friend and it works.

The soil is a good base and very suitable for adding amendments to suit the needs of your plant. I tried many soilless mixes, I like this one the most, for me it is the most versatile and easiest to use. Wish it came in a smaller 2L pack though. Good price and was delivered fast.

I'd highly recommend this potting mix as my alocasia roots grow very well and healthy in it. I'm also using it for other plant.
