Bergs Potter Atlas Terracotta Pot
A classic tapered terracotta pot with tight vertical ribbing running in repeating bands around the body, the Atlas has a textured, sculptural surface that gives it visual weight without overwhelming the plant inside. The ribbing is precise and consistent, making the pot recognisable across a shelf of mixed plants. Available in five sizes from 14 cm to 25 cm in diameter, and in both Grey and Rosa terracotta, the Grey sits well in minimal, modern interiors alongside concrete and white walls, while the Rosa carries a warmer tone that pairs naturally with timber shelving and rattan. A saucer is integrated into the base, so no separate dish is needed. Handmade in small family-owned workshops in Italy from premium Italian clay and fired at high temperatures for frost resistance, the Atlas is built for both indoor and outdoor use year-round. Fits naturally into:
- As a windowsill or shelf display, grouping two or three sizes together. The smaller sizes work particularly well with snake plants, cacti, and compact succulents, creating a layered, collected arrangement that builds over time
- On a balcony or patio with drought-tolerant plants like lavender or rosemary, where the frost-resistant clay holds up through changing seasons without losing its character
- As a standalone accent pot for a single structural plant like a ponytail palm or an aloe vera, where the ribbed texture and grounded form complement the plant's own architectural quality
- Over time, the raw terracotta develops a natural patina that adds to the pot's presence rather than diminishing it, particularly visible when planted with a trailing plant like a string of pearls spilling over the rim
Atlas takes its name from the Titan who carried the heavens on his shoulders. Sturdy terracotta, repeating bands of vertical lines, built to last. A pot that earns its place in any home, season after season. Designed by Rasmus Rostrup.
From the Crafters:
The Atlas Pot in sturdy terracotta, designed to stand on the shoulders of its saucer counterpart. Inspired by the legendary Titan Atlas, who carried the weight of the heavens on his shoulders, this pot is characterised by its repeating circular patterns of vertical lines, symbolising the arduous and perpetual task of its mythological namesake.
Much like the enduring spirit of Atlas, this pot is built to stand the test of time, promising longevity and resilience when cared for. Just as Atlas persevered in his celestial task, this pot will continue to thrive and serve as a timeless feature in any garden or home.

What Our Customers Say

This is definitely an excellent potting mix!
Once I replaced the mix of my alocasia with this, it started thriving and pushing out new sprouts. It's a chunky and airy mix so watering becomes more frequent but great for plants that hate wet feet and get root rot fast.

This is my third purchase of this potting mix, and it continues to impress. The drainage is excellent, and my plants have been growing healthier than ever.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. High-quality potting mix. Even though I definitely don't have green fingers. A reliable mix that makes plant care so much easier. Highly recommended.

Can't find a better soil mix to start my plant journey with! 2 weeks in and my plants are flourishing!

My alocasia stingray suffered from root rot and was attacked by mealy bugs. Potted an almost dead plant with just 1 yellowing leaf and few roots in this mix.
Today I cut off the last leaf and look, there is a sign of life. This potting mix is great. If I had known about this earlier, I would have fewer dead plants

Exactly 1 month since repot. This is a propagated anthurium and suffice to say, it absolutely loves the soil and the net pot.
I've had this plant since January and this is the first time it's growing 7 new leaves all at once! My only regret is that I wish bought a bigger pot because boy these roots grow fast!
— Gian J.
Excellent. Bought this as a recommendation from a friend and it works.

The soil is a good base and very suitable for adding amendments to suit the needs of your plant. I tried many soilless mixes, I like this one the most, for me it is the most versatile and easiest to use. Wish it came in a smaller 2L pack though. Good price and was delivered fast.

I'd highly recommend this potting mix as my alocasia roots grow very well and healthy in it. I'm also using it for other plant.
